Acts 29 regional bootcamp August 29-31 in S.D.

I’m proud to announce that we will be hosting our first bootcamp here in San Diego August 29-31. We will have Scott Thomas, a dear friend and director of Acts 29 present, as well as 3 or 4 other A29 pastors who will fly in to speak and help assess potential planters, as well as our planters from L.A. down to San Diego to assist and give wisdom. This will run in a format very similar to other A29 bootcamps and should be a great blessing to the southwest region. Also, Dick Kaufmann and Doug Swagerty from Harbor Presbyterian will come and speak on the gospel and multi-site church planting. These man have assisted Kaleo in many, many ways and we are honored they will be speaking to us. We’ll also have breakouts that will include a technology piece (led by Drew Goodmanson) and other practical discussusion on church planting.

The sporg registration will be up and running soon, and I’ll post it on here as well as on the A29 site so you can register. This is not limited to the Southwest if you are looking to attend and even be assessed as a potential planter. If you are already on mission, it might be good to come and get to know us anyway, as well as be fed by the main sessions. I’ll post the list of speakers and their topics soon.
