How to Preach the Gospel to Yourself

As I’ve been studying hard, praying deeply, listening and reading widely on the subject of Gospel-Centered sanctification, I have come to the realization that without developing the skill and art of preaching the Gospel to myself, not only to others, I can easily slip into old patterns of thinking and motivation when desiring change in my life.

We are broken vessels restored by God’s grace into vessels of honor for His glory, but boy do we ever leak!

I preached a message on the art of preaching the gospel to yourself which I thought I would share for all our benefit.

What a blessing it is to have Gospel-centered friends who lovingly teach me the gospel when my deceptive heart slips into the idol making mode of works based security and sanctification.
